V-Type Prints
Victoria Forrest
These images are created by drawing with lights of differing strengths and colours to create ever more complex architectural forms. The lights vary from a few milimeters across to a few feet wide and are a mixture of keyrings (L.E.D.s), striplighting (fluorsecent tubes) and torches (Maglights) sometimes combined with coloured gels, to create a palette of colour and texture. The exposure time of each image varies from a few seconds to several hours and may involve up to 20 multiple exposures onto 5×4 large format plates or 35mm slide film.
